The kids and I made a mad dash for the sunshine this afternoon. We got a little muddy but had oh so much fun. Josh ran up and down the street over and over again. Any time I picked him up to face him in another direction he would kick and scream until I let him back down to run.
I just had a flashback to that indescribable feeling of realizing that it was break-up...no where else in the world would you get so excited over mud and slush like in Alaska:)
I can't believe how little snow you have left... I swear I was just there and it was inches thick on the road!! It looks like a fun time though, wish I could have been there.
