Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we hung out at home for most of the day. We did make an excursion to go see Madagascar 2 at the local theater. We were the only ones there which worked out quite nicely when the kids got bored of the movie and started climbing the seats and running up and down the aisles. Later on in the evening we attended the candle light service at church. The kids looked so cute all dressed up in their fancy duds.

Jaycob and Jordan were old enough to sit in big church for the service. They did pretty well sitting quietly. They really enjoyed the lighting of the candles. I snuck pictures of them (without the flash) in an attempt to capture the moment without disrupting the service.

After the service everyone was given a candy cane. We saved one for Joshy and gave it to him when we busted him out of nursery.

This is Jordan doing her best to ruin her Christmas dress.

We topped off the evening by putting out cookies and milk for Santa (and crackers for the reindeer because I forgot to buy carrots, DOH!) and then Daddy read Twas The Night Before Christmas. Off to bed to dream of sugar plums!
