Yesterday was Jake’s Pop Warner Football jamboree. He had to be there at 7am for weigh-ins and then stood on the sidelines until noon for his twenty minute game. FIVE HOURS!
First thing first though, team picture!

Finally! Game time!
The teams played short games for jamboree. Ten minutes on offense, ten minutes on defense. Now we just have to wait for his turn to play.

I don’t personally know a whole lot about football but I do know that my boy is small and not very aggressive so we weren’t surprised when we sat around for 5 hours to watch him play in 3 plays. I guess there was a chance that he wouldn’t get to play at all, but thankfully that didn’t happen. He had fun though and it didn’t rain on us, so everyone was happy.
